Supporting Small Businesses

2020-04-23T21:16:42+00:00 April 23rd, 2020|

Our team has been focusing on bite-sized actions we can take to make an impact, and to take care of both ourselves and our clients during these unprecedented times. One thing we’ve been passionate about is finding ways to support other small business owners while life feels turbulent. That’s why we’ve rounded up some of our favorite small businesses, and are sharing their recent projects or content for you to check out!

All of these resources are incredibly valuable – and we love that we’re able to share them with you here.

Charesse Hagan

Charesse Hagan is an operations consultant for financial planners. Many of our clients have worked with her and rave about her services! She recently released a blog post that focuses on helping firm owners create processes for efficiently working from home (either individually or as a virtual team). Read the full post here!

Lexicon Content Development

We love Olivia Luper of Lexicon Content Development! She has incredible content, and a fantastic social media presence with actionable tips for financial planners on all things content marketing. In her recent blog post, Top 3 Reasons Not to Cut your Advisor Marketing in a Downturn, she goes over how to lean into marketing when the markets are turbulent.

Studio Luna Co

Carley Beyer, founder of Studio Luna Co, is an incredible graphic designer and Squarespace designer. She serves a wide range of small businesses, including financial planners, and does incredible work. She recently launched a new website (check it out here!), and released an incredible Brand Experience Guide to help business owners define their brand and adjust their design and marketing accordingly. You don’t want to miss it!

Janey Stahl

Janey Stahl is an incredible business coach who focuses on all aspects of scaling a business – from sales, to putting profit first, to growing your team and setting goals. We’ve been long-time followers of Janey, and were thrilled when she started releasing video content! In this video interview, she and her colleague, Jeanine King, go over how to sell confidently (even in a crisis).

Merithot

Merithot, a creative marketing agency based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, provides incredible services that range from web development and design to videography. Our team has partnered with them on a number of occasions to collaborate with both our own projects and client work. They recently put together a video all about how “explainer videos” can positively work for your company’s marketing strategy. Check it out here.

Sphynx Automation

Sphynx Automation is constantly putting together amazing products for financial planners looking to streamline and automate their practice – and they recently launched new templates! You can get templates for everything ranging from document gathering to onboarding questionnaires by clicking here.

Nifty Advisor Support

The Nifty Advisor Support team offers a wide range of services for financial advisors. Recently, they published an incredibly informative blog post about how the CARES Act has opened up planning opportunities for advisors (and how you can take advantage of them!). Read the full post by clicking here.

Shameless Plug – We’ve Launched Coaching!

In the midst of this pandemic, our team has been hard at work launching a brand new coaching website. The coaching packages we’ve put together are action-focused and geared toward a clear end result. We have solutions for new advisors, and for seasoned firms who want to level up their marketing. This website and these coaching programs were truly a labor of love, and we’d be honored if you checked them out!
